Yahoo seem to have disabled forwarding

As per subject - it seems that Yahoo!/BTYahoo! are no longer honouring
forwarding settings in BTYahoo! mail - supposedly its temporary because
of maintenance work.

I've just tried sending a test email to three of my BT accounts and
nothing is being forwarded to my third party domain address.

Thankfully I set up forwarding on all my btinternet.com addresses a LONG
time ago, when BT warned us of the "imminent" transfer to BTMail, so
none of these accounts are used anymore to communicate with me by anyone
except BT - any warning emails they might have sent, have presumably got
held up by the forwarding block? !

Maybe someone's installing more government snooping equipment? But which
government?

And now they've arrived - but a bit slower than normal - 21:59:38 sent -
arrived at 3rd party server 23:54:37, normally it's virtually instantaneous.

The option for pop & forwarding on Mail Options has now disappeared, and
at 2.31am Yahoo sent me an email asking me to verify an alternate
address I verified ages ago (and to do so via a signin link in the email
itself - no no no no! Do these people never learn?)

All the links were yahoo.com links. and not obfuscated (checked in
Mailwasher).

I signed in via my bookmark, and discovered no pop & forwarding option
was available. I do NOT use the "new" yahoo mail, but I did have
scripting enabled for the old site.

I have pop & forwarding set up and it still works. But it seems that it
is no longer configurable nor can it be cancelled.
Is the option still available on the "new" interface if anyone is using it?
(used to be - cog wheel - options - mail options)

Is this an attempt to try to force everyone onto the new Yahoo Mail system?

I had an e-mail from Yahoo today telling me I had linked one of my other
addresses to the Yahoo account at 02.07, I was fast asleep in bed at that
time and the accounts in question were linked some 3 years ago, so it
appears Yahoo is sending out old e-mails.

Interesting to see you got a similar email to me at a similar time
around 2am. Mine also looked as if they should have been sent a long
time ago.
I did send both mine to ***@btinternet.com (I suspect that to be a
black hole). If they are genuine BT emails then they don't follow their
own anti-phishing advice, as they both included a link to a signin page
requiring a password, contrary to best anti-phishing practice.

Looks like the engineers are yet again tinkering under the Yahoo! mail
server bonnet and pulling out wires and reconnecting them without being
too sure what they do....

forwarding seems to still be working, but the configuration option to
configure/change/cancel forwarding in the BTYahoo! webmail interface has
totally disappeared (I've had a very good search for it).
I'm trying to get an answer out of @BTCare on Twitter. So far, not much
response except "try another browser". Sigh....
Also - this response on

I'm not allowed on that forum so can't follow up, but I know who the
poster is and he is generally very reliable with his information, and I
have worked with him in the past on some of his 3rd party independent
BTYahoo! email information and help pages.
